Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026. Essential sign-in and preferences; optional analytics via Google Tag Manager when you opt in.
This Cookie Policy explains how LifeOS (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) when you visit our websites or use our web application. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. “Local storage” is a similar browser mechanism used to persist small amounts of data. We use these technologies where needed to run the site, remember preferences, and support diagnostics as described below.
Essential (strictly necessary)
These are required for the Service to function. They include, for example:
- Authentication session — Cookies or storage used by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in securely in the web app.
- Security and load balancing — Technologies used by our hosting infrastructure to route traffic and protect against abuse.
- Theme preference — Local storage may remember light/dark mode (for example via next-themes) so the UI stays consistent between visits.
- Cookie notice choice — We store your acknowledgment of this notice so we do not repeatedly show the banner.
We do not use essential cookies for behavioral advertising.
Diagnostics, performance, and session replay (Sentry)
We load Sentry on the web app to collect errors, performance traces, structured logs, and (on a sampled basis) session replay recordings so we can understand and fix issues. Replay may capture what appears on your screen during a session. Sentry may set cookies or use storage associated with its SDK. This processing is for reliability and security, not for third-party advertising. For details, see Sentry’s privacy policy and our Privacy Policy (section on Sentry and limited personal data).
Optional marketing / analytics (Google Tag Manager)
If you choose Allow analytics on our cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager (GTM) so we can measure marketing performance and site usage. GTM may set cookies or use storage from Google and any tags we configure in our GTM container (for example Google Analytics or conversion pixels). These technologies are not loaded if you choose Essential only.
You can change your mind by clearing site data for LifeOS in your browser; the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit. For Google's practices, see Google's Privacy Policy.
How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner on our site to acknowledge this notice.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data.
- Note: blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or break parts of the web app.
Mobile apps
Native mobile apps do not use browser cookies in the same way. App data collection is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. Check this page for the latest version.
